Minnie AAR2643 & Mickey AAR 2642... 21 Feb 23, one of our volunteers was notified that 2 old dogs had been abandoned in a box in the middle of the road. She immediately went to collect them. Both dogs were in terrible conditions, and taken immediately to the vets. Estimated at 14/15 years old, both had severe mange Minnie had hernias probably due to over breeding, and Mickey had no lower jaw and ulcerated testicles. Both dogs received all the treatment necessary. Due to their health conditions. age, and all they had been through, we could tell they were a bonded pair and it would have been impossible to find an adoptive home for them to remain together. Mickey & Minnie are now in Permanent Foster and being thoroughly spoilt, as they deserve to be. We will continue to cover all vet costs, food and anything else they need
